Featuring compatibility with single-phase 240V AC, the 5HP unit offers thermal overload protection. The explosion proof device carries a NEMA starter size 3 rating and can be mounted on flat surfaces. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPCS-MTS-ATL-1P-240V-5HP-X0-C6-TH-15051-2X0.75S is an explosion proof direct-on-line motor starter for flammable facilities. This unit is compatible with single-phase 240V AC (contactor/control circuit) and features an external handle that is padlockable for security purposes. The explosion proof device is rated at 5 HP and 30 amps. This unit has accessible start/stop buttons for initiating the motor and a manual reset button. A green running indicator light provides the real-time status of the motor starter. Equipped with thermal overload protection this unit carries a NEMA starter size 3 rating. This direct-on-line starter is constructed of copper-free aluminum, with 316 stainless steel cover bolts. The unit is suitable for Class I, Divisions 1 and 2; Class I, Zone 1 and 2; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2; and Class III hazardous locations. A NEMA 4/4X rating ensures protection from exposure to direct water spray and corrosive elements. Hubs: Two 3/4" NPT hubs located at the south side of the enclosure are available for completing wiring connections and installations. Mounting: The EPCS-MTS-ATL-1P-240V-5HP-X0-C6-TH-15051-2X0.75S is designed for surface mounting configurations, via four mounting lugs located at each corner of the unit.
